Carers Week – Events for Carers
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK.
It also helps people who don’t think of themselves as having caring responsibilities to identify as carers and access much-needed support.
Our CarerLinks team are running a number of events taking place during carers week to help carers connect and for us to provide useful information and advice to support your role.

Carers Stories & Poems
If you have a poem or a story about your caring role we would love to hear it!
Life as a carer can be very rewarding but also very challenging and not everyone truly understands the role of a carer.
Whilst we understand the role can vary greatly from carer to carer, we’d love to be able to share real stories and poems that reflect what your reality may be – you never know who it may help.
